Welcome to the Association of Grand Prairie Artists website.
The AGPA, is a non-profit organization that meets monthly (except July and August). providing a local forum for artists of all media to gather together to increase their knowledge, to network, and to reach out into the community through their creativity. Our meetings feature demonstrations by well-known artists and teachers, as well as periodic cretiques of member's works. There is usually a short business meeting to keep everyone informed of our latest projects and new opportunities. Members also have the opportunity to exhibit their artwork in participating local businesses on a rotating basis.

Our Mission:
The Association of Grand Prairie Artists is committed to the advancement of visual arts in our community. As members we are dedicated to the promotion, practice, preservation and instruction of fine art. We hope to enhance our city by actively using our individual skills and creativity to make art more visible and to provide instructional opportunities to those who are interested in growing as artists while we grow ourselves.

How to Join:
Our membership is increasing with each meeting and function, and we are learning about our community and how we can be involved in it as artists. We are excited as artists to be able to share our knowledge and to learn from others.  Annual membership dues are $25.00, half price for students.
